SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The owner of Hangar 106H, May Rental LLC is in the process of selling to Nolan W. Smith. Mr. Smith is
seeking to assume the lease for the hangar.
The purchaser has been provided with a copy of the current lease, current Airport Rules and Regulations,
and Airport Minimum Standards. The annual lease rate is unchanged at $.30 per square foot for a 1466 sq.
ft. leasehold ($439.80).
This is a Legacy hangar and as such was required to meet the Airport Advisory Committee who unanimously
recommend allowing Mr.Smith to assume the lease.
The City Clerk will record the document, and keep a copy for the City’s records. We have requested a $200
transaction fee as a part of this process. The assumption is attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the assumption of the Hangar 106H lease by Nolan W. Smith, terminate May Hardware LLC’s
interest in the lease at time of closing and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
