SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The applicant, the City of McCall, has applied for an Annexation application to bring 15.302 acres of land immediately adjacent to the City limits and the McCall Airport property in
to the City Limits. These parcels are currently zoned RR – Rural Residential, and are proposed to be rezoned to AP – Airport.
The intent of the project is to relocate the existing taxiway, which runs parralell to the runway, 400 ft. from the runway (centerline to centerline) to meet Federal Aviation Administration
specifications.
At its March 6, 2018 regularly scheduled meeting, the McCall Area Planning and Zoning Commission held a properly noticed public hearing and unanimously recommended applications ANNEX-18-01
and ZON-18-02 for approval by City Council.
Staff Report, Findings of Fact, draft ordinance, and zoning map are attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Hold a public hearing.
Approve zoning map amendment application ZON-18-02 as recommended by the McCall Area Planning and Zoning Commission and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
Suspend the rules and read by title one time only Ordinance No.______.
Adopt Ordinance No._____, approve the publication of the ordinance, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
