SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Gem Air is a commercial air taxi service that is requesting to operate from McCall. They have operated out of McCall Airport for the last 3 summers.
Terms of the lease provide for approximately 1,000 sq. ft. of space in hangar 101 for the period May 14, 2018 through September 14, 2018 leased at $650.00 per month. Included in the
lease are two city provided parking spaces outside the airport fence. Gem Air will be responsible for providing additional documentation of vehicle parking spaces subleased from McCall
Aviation. They are also seeking to lease a tie down space for the same period for which they will be charged $225.00. The lease has been reviewed by legal counsel and meets airport
minimum standards.
Additionally, the attached lease demonstrates compliance with FAA Grant Assurances for competition and aeronautical use of Hangar 101.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Lease Agreement for Gem Air and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
