SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This agenda item is a request for the City Council to approve an Agreement of Cooperative Noxious Weed Management Program between US Foreset Service, The City of McCall, and Valley County.
City staff will work with other departments (Streets & Golf) to better staff and support cooperative weed work days. In recent years this program has been a significant resource in
managing and mitigating noxious weeds in a number of our more problematic areas such as the Airport, Riverfront Park, Sewage Treatment Facility, and industrial areas on Commerce Street
and South Mission. Staff requests that the Council review and discuss the terms of the agreement as it relates to the City of McCall.
The agreement and the 2018 Upper Payette Cooperative Weed Managementt Area Annual Operating Plan are atttached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Non Funded Participating Agreement between Valley County, The City of McCall, an the USDA Forest Service - Coopertaive Noxious Weed Management and authorize the Mayor to
sign all necessary documents.
