SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In accordance with the State law, a bid package was created for the facility remodel of 550 Deinhard Ln. (County Juvenile Detention Facility). This agenda bill addresses the FY18 Police
Facility Remodel project.
The project consists of a facility redesign and remodel to convert the current detention facility into a functional police facility.
Bidding was published in the paper of record according to State law. A bid tabulation summary will be prepared following the bid opening, and a recommendation for contract award will
be provided. In addition, the draft project agreement will be finalized with the appropriate contractor information. These documents will be provided as a handout to all Council members
at the meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the police facility remodel contract with _______ in the amount of ______ and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
OR
Reject all bids.
