AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLA:'-S
($9,100.00) FROM THE GENERAL FUND CASH OPERATING TO BOARD OF WORKS BURET
GENERAL J-8a (2-22-221) ELECTRIC CURRENT, "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL", GEHF-:AL
J-14 (2-26-261) TREE & STUMP REMOVAL, "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL", GENERAL
J-12 (2-25-251) REPAIR BLDG. & STRUCTURES, "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL".
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the Board of Works of Richmond, lndiara
to transfer the sum of $9,100.00 from the General Fund Cash Operating to
Board of Works Budget, General J-8a (2-22-221) Electric Current, "Se:cvic a
Contractual, General J-14 (2-26-261) Tree & Stump Removal, "Services Ccr<
tractual", General J-12 (2-25-251) Repair Bldg. & Structures, "Servitas
Contractual".
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana after careful study and consideration on the 25th day of Sep-tap*e -.
1969, approved that an ordinance be prepared for Common Council's consida.�-
ation to make the above transfer of funds, and
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emargencies have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary t:3
appropriate more money for the various functions of the City Governm-it. tni
was appropriated in the annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Rirhmo;-,d,.
Indiana.
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutlors
for the year ending Deeeaber 31, 1969, the following money is hereby apprcp'.1.
ated and set apart out of the fund teamed for the purpose specified. Said
sum being subject to all laws governing the same. Such amount appro-�riat.:d
shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made duri?g the
year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund Cash Operating to meet thr: extraordinary emergency
to exist.

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriaions
now have unobligated balances which will not be used for the purpose apps:%p
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Counc+l of the City of Richraotld,
Indiana that such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced in aJ;ol.:.
as follows: and the same is appropriated to the above named item.

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriat':-or..

SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full forge and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the
State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
