AN ORDINANCE TO AMID CHAPTER 41 ARTICLE VII SECTION 41.39, ONE-WAY STREETS
AND ALLEYS, SCHEDULE I.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Division of the Police Department of Richmond, Indiana
has made a study of the traffic along and upon 7th Street, from South "E"
Street north to North "W Street; and 6th Street from Fort Wayne Avenue
south to South "E" Street.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety on the 20th dey.of.November, 1969
after considerable study did approve that 7th Street from South "E" Street
north to North "D" Street be a one-way street in a northbound direction and
that 6th Street from Fort Wayne Avenue south to South "E" Street �e a one-
way street in a southbound direction, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indianes
SECTION 1. That Chapter 41, Article VII, Section 41.39 One -Way Streets and
Alleys, Schedule;I, of the Municipal Code of Richmond, Indiana, be and the
same is hereby amended to read as followss
"One Way Streets
1. South 3rd Street from Main Street to South "A" Street, southbound.
2. South 18th Street from Main Street to South "A" Street, northbound.
3. South 20th Street from Main Street to Reeveston Road, southbound.
4. 9th Street from South "N" Street to North "C" Strreet, northbound.
5. 8th Street from North "C" Street to South "N" Street, southbound.
6. South "A" Street from South 3rd Street to South 18th Street, eastbound.
7. South "B" Street from South 5th Street to South 16th Street, westbound.
S. South "C" Street from South 5th Street to South 16th Street, eastbound.
9. South loth Street from Park Place to South "C" Street, writ side of Park,
southbound.
10. South loth Street from Park Place to South ":;" Street, east side of Park,
northbound.
11. Fort Wayne Avenue from Main Street to North "A" Street, southbound.
12. North "C" Street from North 3rd Street to North 5th Street, eastbound.
13. North "D" Street from North 3rd Street to Nor•;h 4th Street, eastbound.
14. North "A" Street from North 3rd Street to North 16th Street, westbound.
15. North "B" Street from North 6th Street to North 16th Street, eastbound.
16. North "C" Street from North 7th Street to North 16th Street, westbound.
17. North 18th Street from Main Street to North "E" Street, southbound.
18. North 19th Street from Main Street to North "E" Street, northbound.
19. Sailor Street from North llth Street to North 7th Street, westbound.
20. South 6th Street from South "E" Street to South "H" Street, southbound.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and publication as required.
