PRESENT: Mayor Craig Rockwood, Council members Mike Klingler, Brad Andersen,
Susan Barnes, Cliff Long, Clerk Betty McKinlay
VISITORS: None
Mayor Rockwood welcomed and thanked everyone for coming to the preliminary
planning of the pathway grant. The grant is for $150,000. It needs to be signed and sent
back so work can get started. A Resolution needs to be approved also. Council member
Brad Andersen motioned to approve the Resolution for the Iona Pathway Project
Development. Council member Mike Klingler seconded. All were in favor. Mayor
Rockwood mentioned that maybe the County would work with us in putting the pathway
down to the Bonneville High School. $2000 will be sent to the State.
The Draney/Searle Audit Contract to provide audit services was approved. Annual fee is
$1850 estimate. Council member Cliff Long motioned to approve the contract. Council
member Susan Barnes seconded. All were in favor.
Engineers for the beautification project was discussed. Council members Brad Andersen,
Mike Klingler, and Cliff Long had viewed the rankings for the Engineers — Benton
Engineering, Schiess & Associates, Myers/Anderson Architects, and Forsgren
Associates. Forsgren had a little more experience and the Council agreed to go with the
Forsgren company. Council member Mike Klingler motioned to negotiate with Forsgren.
Council member Cliff Long seconded. All were in favor.
Cross walk at the Church was discussed. Fall Social was discussed.
