AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONT
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH CME ASSOCIATES -R
AVENUE STREETSCAPE PROJECT

OSEVELT
WHEREAS, the Borough ofCarteret is in need of professional engin
regard to Roosevelt Avenue Streetseape project; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates, 3141 Bordentown Avenue, Parlin, New Jer ey 08859, possesses
the requisite experience aÍ1d expertise to provide said services; anù
WHEREAS, CMF Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said serv ces at a total cost not
to exceed $26,000.00; and
WHERE,AS, the Mayor and the CouneD have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or wil be avaDable for said
purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Cou cil of the Borough of
Carteret, County ofM1ddlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
L The proposal from CME Assoetates for engmeering services wit regard to the design
and construction of the Roosevelt Avenue Streetscape Project at a otal cost not to exceed
$26,000.00 1S hereby approved;
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional scrvic s contract pursuant to
NJ.SA 40A: 11-5(1)(a);
3. ^ copy of this ResolutlOn be forwarded to the Borough's Pure asing Department and
CME Associates.
