AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-22 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGA ING THE
SCHEDULE OF NO PARKING ZONES—FRANKLIN STREET
WHEREAS, Section 8-22 of the Greencastle City Code lists th no parking zones within the City of
Greencastle; and
WHEREAS,the City wishes to update its list of no parking zo es within the City of Greencastle.
WHEREAS,the Indiana Department of Transportation has gr ted the City the authority to regulate
parking along U.S. 231 within the city limits.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council o the City of Greencastle that Section
8-22, Schedule of No Parking Zones, is hereby amended to add the fol owing no parking zone areas:
Street Side From To
Franklin St South College Street Indianapolis Road
The above restriction does not apply to existing parking bays.
All other provisions in Section 8-22, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage oft e Greencastle Common Council and
its approval by the Mayor.
