AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
CORPORATION FOR NATIONAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Corporation for National Services has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) desires to submit a grant application for operating expenses for the year 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Corporation for National Services for operating expenses for the year 2001.
The RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Thirty-three Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-four dollars ($33,824.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), shall be appropriated for operating expenses for the year 2001.
Passed and adopted this 21st day of August, 2000, by the Common Council for the City of Richmond, Indiana.
