Town Board Briefing
March 15, 2017
Please note that members of the Town Board will have dinner together starting at
5:30pm.
The Town Board will begin the meeting with and executive session regarding water and
sewer matters. This is anticipated to conclude by 7:00pm.
Members of the Economic Development Advisory Committee will be attending the
meeting for a follow up discussion with the Town Board regarding a proposed Economic
Development Policy. In addition to the draft policy, an excel worksheet is included in the
packet which provides some analysis of the sales tax implications of the proposal.
Our Head Gardener, Cathleen Brown, will be attending the meeting for a follow up
discussion with the Board regarding our noxious weed management program. Pending
weather, we may need to shift the time of this discussion to accommodate the fact that
Cathleen is our night shift operator on the 15th.
Lori Sherwood, with Vantage Point, will be providing the Board with an overview of the
findings of our Broadband Study and discussing recommendations.
Resolution 2017-03-03 is being brought for further consideration. As discussed at the
prior meeting, a Request for Proposals (RFP) was distributed to local painters and we
received one proposal. The RFPs were sent to Thomas A. Moore Company, Moore
Brothers Painting, JFK Painting, and Joe Fleming
