RESOLUTION 1988 - 16
A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING THE GREENCASTLE HIGH SCHOOL TIGER CURS
ON THEIR 1987-88 ACCOMPLISHMENTS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle High School boy'e basketball team, the Tiger
Cuba, is the beet high school teem in Putnam County; and,
WHEREAS, the Tiger Cube are the County Classic Champions; and,
WHEREAS, the Tiger Cube are the West Central Conference Champions; and,
WHEREAS, the Tiger Cubs are the Greencastle Sectional Champions; end,
WHEREAS, the Tiger Cube are the Terre Haute Regional Champions; end,
WHEREAS, the Tiger Cube reached the final game of the Terre Haute Semi-
State; and,
WHEREAS, the Tiger Cubs are the best high school basketball teem south
of Dig Walnut and north of the Ohio River, east of the Illinois state line
and west of Lawrence County,
NOW THEREFORE RE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, as follows:
1. That we offer sincere congratulations to Coach Doug Miller and hie
teem for the aforementioned accomplishments; end,
2. That we express our deep appreciation and pride in Coach Miller and
his team not only for their accomplishments, but also for representing our
community with their determination, pluck, and good sportsmanship; end,
00 3. That we thank the entire community for supporting the Tiger Cube.
