HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 02-41281 1 RESOLUTION NO. 02 -4128 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, ZONE VARIANCE AND LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT FOR PROPERTIES ADDRESSED AS 4917 ENCINITA AVENUE AND 4916 SERENO DRIVE (LAW /ABELL) (GPA 02 -1 /ZC 02- 1494/ZV 02- 1495/LLA 02 -1493) The City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby resolve: SECTION 1. Based upon a public hearing and based upon information provided in Staff Reports and based upon testimony received at a Public Hearing before the Planning Commission and based upon testimony and information received at a Noticed Public Hearing before the City Council, the City Council hereby approves a General Plan Amendment, Zone Variance and Lot Line Adjustment based upon the findings contained in Planning Commission Resolution 02- 2026PC. SECTION 2. This project should not result in significant effects upon the environment, and a Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the State CEQA Guidelines. The initial statement as prepared indicates there is no potential for adverse impact to the environment as it relates to all wild animals, birds, plants, fish, amphibians and related ecological communities, including the habitat upon which the wildlife depends for its continued viability. The Planning Commission has reviewed and approved said Negative Declaration. SECTION 3. Accordingly, General Plan Amendment 01 -2 to re- designate the subject property from low- density residential to light manufacturing as shown on the attached map labeled Exhibit "A" is hereby approved based upon the findings contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 02- 2026PC. SECTION 4. Accordingly, Zone Variance 02 -1495 to allow the reduction in the size of an R -1 zoned parcel from 8,292 square feet to 6,092 square feet is hereby approved based upon the findings contained in Planning Commission Resolution 02- 2026PC. SECTION 5. Accordingly, Lot Line Adjustment 02 -1493 is hereby approved based upon the findings and conditions set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 02- 2026PC. SECTION 6. This approval shall not take affect until and unless the subject 2,200 square feet of land area is rezoned from R -1 to M -1. SECTION 7. This approval is subject to all conditions of approval as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 02- 2026PC.
