CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. ;l.S~
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND PROVIDING FOR SALARIES OF
CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS; PROVIDING FOR THE METHOD OF PAYMENT THEREOF; AND
REPEALING ORDINANCES NUMBER 43,107,129, 153, 161, 180,
196, 221, 239, 251, SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 49 ALL
OTHER CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
SECTION 1. SALARIES ESTABLISHED:
There is hereby established and provided the following
salaries for the following designated officers and employees of
the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, to-wit:
Municipal Judge.
.$175.00 per session of court
City Prosecutor
.$175.00 per prosecutor per
session of court
Chief of Police.
. $31,200 per year
SECTION 2. METHOD OF PAYMENT:
The foregoing salaries shall be effective September 11,
1995, and may be paid in bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or
annual payments in proper proportionate amounts as may be
deemed advisable by the City of Bel Aire, Kansas.
SECTION 3. REPEAL:
Ordinances Number 43, 107, 129, 153, 161, 180, 196, 221,
239, 251, and Section 4 of Ordinance Number 49 are hereby
repealed. All other ordinances or parts of other ordinances in
conflict herewith are repealed. However, any section of an
existing Ordinance not in conflict herewith is not repealed and
remains in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE:
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication in the Official City Newspaper.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bel
Air~, Kansas this 19th day of September, 1995.
