AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Service desires to submit a grant application to develop a program that meets the needs of senior widowed men.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The Widowed Persons Service is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Wayne County Foundation to develop a program that meets the needs of senior widowed men.
The Widowed Persons Service is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the Widowed Persons Service, shall be appropriated to develop a program that meets the needs of senior retired men.
Passed and adopted this 21st day of August, 2000, by the Common Council for the City of Richmond, Indiana.
