A RESOLUTION TO COMMEND THE "JUST SAY NO" PROGRAM IN THE
GREENCASTLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Community Schools and the Children of
Greencastle's Jones, Northeast, and Ridpath Elementary schools have
demonstrated their concern and commitment for a drug and alcohol free City;
and,
•
WHEREAS, the Fraternal Order of Police, the Greencastle City Police, the
Teachers and Principals of the Greencastle Elementary Schools have worked with
the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students to establish the "Just Say No" program and
in particular we would like to thank Mrs. John Lanie and Carol Boggess; and,
WHEREAS, the citizens of Greencastle do recognize that our children are
the most important resource to the future of Greencastle.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, as follows:
That all of us do hereby thank and encourage the continuation of the
"Just Say No" program and more importantly express pride in the students for
their commitment to making Greencastle a better place to live.
PASSED AND RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE THIS
