A RESOLUTION LIFTING THE SEWER BAN SOUTH OF
HANNA STREET IN THE CITY OF GREENCPSTLE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, at a
regularly scheduled irreting held on December 10, 1985, by resolution imposed a
ban on additional sewage connections authorized to the sanitary sewer in the
area south of Hanna Street and to the East along the line of the South
boundaries of the City of Greencastle city limits; and
WHEREAS, certain improvements to the sanitary sewer system are scheduled
which will alleviate the overloading problems which led to the inuosition of
the ban; and
WHEREAS, lifting the sewer ban will allow for additional growth and
development to occur south of Hanna Street and to the south of Greencastle.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, that the sewer ban on connections to the sanitary sewer
south of Hanna Street is hereby lifted.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at
its regular meeting this 12th day of July, 1988.
