A RESOLUTION TO RE-ESTABLISH A
CUMULATIVE CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FUND
011 WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle by Ordinance No.
1985-4, dated May 14, 1985, established a Cumulative Capital Development Fund
pursuant to I.C. 36-9-15.5-1; and
WHEREAS, the maximum rate of levy established by Ordinance No. 1985-4 was
Four Cents ($.04) per hundred dollars ($100) assessed valuation for 1986;
Eight Cents ($.08) per hundred dollars assessed valuation for 1987; and Twelve
Cents ($.12) per hundred dollars assessed valuation for 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle desires to
re-establish a Cumulative Capital Development Fund.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Putnam County, State of Indiana, that it is desired and deemed
necessary to proceed with the proposed plan to re-establish a Cumulative
Capital Development Fund for the following purpose:
(1) To construct and maintain public ways or sidewalks.
And the levying of an additional tax of fifteen cents y g ($.15) on each one
hundred dollars ($100.00) of taxable real and personal property within the
*+" taxing district to provide monies for said fund, said tax to be levied in
1988, payable in 1989, and annually thereafter for three (3) years or until
reduced or rescinded as provided for in I.C. 36-9-15.5-1.
Be it further resolved that proofs of publication and position of notices
of the public hearing held on this 26th day of July, 1988, and a certified
copy of this resolution and such proposed plan be submitted to the State Board
of Tax Commissioners of the State of Indiana, as provided by law.
PASSED AND RESOLVED this 26th day of July, 1988.
