A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A CITY FLOWER FOR THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
WHEREAS, the GREENCASTLE CIVIC LEAGUE has led efforts to beautify the
City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, the GREENCASTLE CIVIC LEAGUE has surveyed the citizens of
Greencastle as to their preference as to a City Flower; and
WHEREAS, the flower most frequently chosen by the citizens of the City of
Greencastle was "Pink Impatiens";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle that "PINK IMPATIENS" is hereby designated as the official City
Flower for the City of Greencastle.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at
its regular meeting this 12th day of April, 1989.
