A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF MAIN STREET GREENCASTLE, INC.'S
CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE INDIANA MAIN STREET PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Main Street Greencastle was established in 1983 for the
purpose of revitalizing the Courthouse Square Business District; and
WHEREAS, Main Street Greencastle helped establish and has participated
in the Indiana Main Street Program since the inception of the program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle and Main Street Greencastle have
cooperated on many projects to further the revitalization of the Courthouse
Square Business District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle, its residents, and its businesses
will benefit from continued participation in the Indiana Main Street
Program.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, as follows:
That the Common Council and the City of Greencastle support the
application by Main Street Greencastle for continued participation at the
new Graduate Partnership level of the Indiana Main Street Program.
PASSED AND RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
