MEETING: Public Arts Committee Regular Meeting

Board: Ken Ball, Francie deVos, Ernie Roybal, Eric Vandernail, Shelly Madsen,
Laura Veenstra (arrived at 9:05am), Kristi Martens (arrived at 9:08am)

1. Regular Meeting: Roll Call
Eric Vandernail called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.
2. Approval of Agenda:
DeVos moved, and Vandernail seconded the motion to approve the Agenda. Motion
carried: 6-0.
3. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes – February 17, 2017
DeVos moved, and Veenstra seconded the motion to approve the consent agenda.
Motion carried: 6 -0.
4. Discussion
a) Bus Shelter RFQ
Ball moved, and Vandernail seconded the motion to approve the Bus Shelter RFQ with
the addition of a ski/snowboard holding storage. Motion carried 7-0.
b) Artist Information Data Base
Madsen moved, and Roybal seconded the motion to approve the Artist Information Data
Base with the proposed changes to the form. Motion carried 7-0.
c) 2018 Town of Fraser Calendar
The PAC would like to continue to discuss the Calendar at the next scheduled meeting.

d) Meeting Agenda Distribution
Vandernail moved, and Roybal seconded the motion to have the meeting Agenda and
Packet posted on Tuesday the week of the PAC meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
Vandernail left the meeting at 10:00am and DeVos continued to chair the meeting.
5. Open Forum
Kristi Martens requested $250 from the PAC for the Fraser Valley Quilt Trail.
Madsen moved, and Ball seconded the motion to approve the reimbursement of up to
$200 for materials with the proof of receipt(s). This must include an endorsement of the
PAC and a link on the PAC web page. Motion carried 5-0. Martens recused herself
from the discussion.
6. Other Business
Madsen moved, and Roybal seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:30.
Motion carried 6-0.
