A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FOR ENGINEERING AND
DESIGN OF MARKET STREET PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has the opportunity to
create long-term parking in the downtown area by development of
the Market Street Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the engineering and design of
the Market Street Parking Lot be completed to allow the City of
Greencastle to enter into agreements with Moose Lodge No. 1592
and Putnam County to provide long-term parking; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Commission For Industrial
Development approved the expenditure of an amount not to exceed
$5,000.00 for the engineering and design of the Market Street
Parking Lot from interest from the Industrial Development Fund
monies at its regular meeting held on October 5, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Greencastle Common
Council approve the expenditure of up to $5,000.00 for the
engineering and design of the Market Street Parking Lot from
interest from the Industrial Development Fund monies.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle at its regular meeting this 10th day of October,
1989.
