RESOLUTION NO. 02 -4141
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY PROVIDING A SALARY ADJUSTMENT TO THE
CITY MANAGER UPON HIS SECOND ANNIVERSARY WITH
THE CITY
WHEREAS, Martin R. Cole has served the City of Temple City as City Manager since
December 4, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Cole has recently celebrated his two year anniversary as City Manager
on December 4, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, during his two years with the City, the City Council has twice evaluated the
performance of the City Manager and provided him with a performance ranking no lower than
"satisfactory;" and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested the Council consider a salary adjustment
based upon these two evaluations.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby granted a salary adjustment equivalent to
one step (4 %); and,
SECTION 2. This salary adjustment shall be effective on December 4, 2002.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 17th day of December, 2002.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do hereby certify that Resolution No. 02 -4141 was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 17th day of
December, 2002. It was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of
December, 2002 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman - Wilson, Zovak, Vizcarra, Gillanders
NOES: Councilman - Souder
ABSENT: Councilman -None
