A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEMPORARY TRANSFERS FROM
THE GENERAL FUND TO THE PARK FUND AND THE CEMETERY FUND
The Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana
pursuant to I.C. 36-1-8-4, hereby authorizes the temporary transfer
of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) from the General Fund to
the Park Fund, and the temporary transfer of Thirty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($35,000.00) from the General Fund to the Cemetery Fund,
said amounts to be repaid to the General Fund on or before December
31, 1990.
The Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana hereby
finds:
1. The transfers are necessary to enhance the depleted Park
Fund and the depleted Cemetery Fund, due to the delay of the June
distribution of property taxes.
2. There is sufficient money on deposit to the credit of the
General Fund that can be temporarily transferred.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle at its regular meeting this 12th day of June, 1990.
