RESOLUTION FOR REALLOCATION OF
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has Housing Development Grant
Funds as funded by the Small Cities Community Development Block
Grant Program through Title I of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 as administered by the Indiana Housing
Finance Authority, and
WHEREAS, it is in the community interest to reallocate funds
from First-Time Home Buyers account to:
Rental Acquisition account
Rental Rehabilitation account,
the Acquisition Rehabilitation account and
the Sale to Home Owners account, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held February 9, 1993 , at 7 : 15
p.m. at the Tzouanakis Intermediate School, Greencastle, Indiana to
receive citizens' views on such reallocations,
IT IS THEREFORE resolved that the City of Greencastle in
conjunction with Opportunity Housing and the Greencastle Housing
Task Force apply to the Indiana Housing Finance Authority for
modification in the utilization of the Housing Development Fund
Grant from First-Time Home Buyers account to Rental Acquisition
account, Rental Rehabilitation account, the Acquisition
Rehabilitation account and Sale to Home Owners account; that such
funds will provide rental rehabilitation for five additional homes
and one pilot home ownership project for a family having income of
80% or less of median income.

PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle at its regular meeting this 9th day of February, 1993 .
