A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A SAFE AND CLEAN
NEIGHBORIIOOD COMMITTEE
The Safe and Clean Neighborhood Committee shall have as its purpose the identification,
determination and recommendations for solutions for unsafe and/or blighted areas for the City
of Greencastle.
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has unsafe and blighted areas within the corporate
limits of Greencastle, and
WHEREAS, such unsafe and blighted areas appear to be* getting worse and need
immediate improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has an important role in determining and making
recommendations to the various branches of government, and
BE IT RESOLVED, the City Counsel does establish a City Council sub-committee on
safe and clean neighborhoods to include two (2) City Council members and no more than five
(5) such other community citizens as the City Council may determine. Said Sub-committee shall
make periodic reports and recommendations to the City Council.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
