HomeMy Public PortalAbout1973-018Village of Medina RESOLUTION NO. 7311, Hamel, Minnesota 55340 ESTABLISHING FEES FOR VARIOUS PERMITS REQUIRED UNDER THE ZONING CODE WHEREAS it has become obvious that the Village of Medina will incur substantial expenses in investigating applications for various permits required under the Village Zoning Code; and WHEREAS the Village Council believes that such expenses should be borne by applicants for those permits rather than by the taxpayers at -large; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 31. (g) of the Medina. Village Zoning Code, the Medina Village Council does hereby establish the following schedule of fees for the following permits required for zoning purposes, which fees shall be collected by the Zoning Administrator at the time of application, shall be deposited with the Village Clerk, and shall be nonrefundable regardless of the disposition of the permit application; For rezoning 425.0C For special use permit $25.00 For land alteration permit $25.0C require For variances which, in the opinion of the Zoning Administrator, on -site inspection . . . . $25.00 For variances requiring no inspectinn..no charge For temporary use permit (not exceeding one year) $10.00 For certificate of occupancy no charge BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Zoning Administrator establish forms upon which applications shall be made, and may require documentation and testing to support applications, but all determinations of the Zoning Administrator under this resolution may be appealed to the Planning Commission and the Village Council. Village of Medina 7314 Hamel, Minnesota 55340 A RESOLUTION it ENDING PROCLUURES FOR OPERATION OF THE POLICE DEPART' ENT BE IT aBsoLva that tile .iMedina Village Council hereby amends the Resolution for the Operation of the Medina Police Department, which resolution was approved January 17, 1961, and is coded as Lppendix VII of the Village Code, as follows: Section IV, No. 4, specifying riders in UP police c;o7, is amended by adding the followin:: G. embers of a nolice reserve force. H. At the discretion of the officer in charge of the car, citizens who have an interest in police 7ork or who may be helpful to the mission of the Police Department, after such citizens have signed a v,eiver of liability.
