A RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATION
WITHIN A CLASSIFICATION OF THE 1994 BUDGET
(Channel 2 Equipment)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Greencastle recognizes the need to provide
equipment for Channel 2 programming; and
WHEREAS, Kelsey Kauffman, as director of the "Putnam County Youth TV", has
proposed a programming format requiring certain equipment; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Cable Access Programming, Account #315, for
transfer to Cable TV Equipment, Account #441.
WHEREAS, the funding by the City of Greencastle would be matched by funds available
from Putnam County Foundation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of$6,000.00 be transferred from
Cable Access Programming, Account #315, to Cable TV Equipment, Account #441, for
n purchase of equipment for the use in Channel 2 programming.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said equipment be made available and assigned to
"Putnam County Youth TV" director Kelsey Kauffman for use by "Putnam County Youth TV";
equipment purchased will remain property of the City of Greencastle.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
regular meeting this 8th day of February, 1994.
