A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PETITION FOR RELIEF
FROM PROPERTY TAX LEVY LIMITATIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle requires additional funding to carry out its
governmental functions for the 1995 Calendar Year, specifically, money is required to meet the
matching fund requirements of a heretofore authorized ISTEA grant; and
WHEREAS, CCD Funds which would otherwise be available, are not available for
Calendar Year 1995; and
WHEREAS, I.C. 6-1.1-17-15 and I.C. 6-1.1-18.5-12 provide procedures for relief from
levy limitations imposed by I.C. 6-1.1-18.5-13,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GREENCASTLE authorize a petition for relief from the levy limitations imposed by
statute for Calendar Year 1995.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
special meeting this 30th day of September, 1994.
