RESOLUTION NO. 1995-1
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
(Funding the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center)
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc. has requested a
matching fund grant of$30,000.00 for the 1995 year from the interest earned on the Industrial
Development Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc. continues to play
a key role in attracting new business and industry, retaining and assisting existing business and
industry; and
WHEREAS, The Greencastle Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development,
pursuant to I. C. 36-7-13-6(c), on February 9, 1995, approved the requested expenditure of
Industrial Development Funds for the support of the Greencastle/Putnam County Development
Center, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Greencastle Common Council approve
the expenditure of $30,000.00 per annum for the 1995 year in matching funds
(Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center shall raise an equivalent sum from other
sources) from interest from the Industrial Development fund monies.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
regular meeting this 14th day of March. 1995.
