RESOLUTION NO. 1995-2
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
(Funding Main Street Greencastle, Inc.)
WHEREAS, the Main Street Greencastle, Inc. has requested a matching fund grant of
$10,000.00 for the 1995 year from the interest earned on the Industrial Development Fund; and
WHEREAS, Main Street Greencastle, Inc. plays a significant role in the development and
strength of the Greencastle Community and the continuation of such activities is in the best
interest of the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, The Greencastle Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development,
pursuant to I. C. 36-7-13-6(c), on February 9, 1995, approved the requested expenditure of
Industrial Development Funds for the support of Main Street Greencastle, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Greencastle Common Council approve
the expenditure of $10,000.00 per annum for the 1995 year in matching funds (Main Street
Greencastle, Inc. shall raise an equivalent sum from other sources) from interest from the
Industrial Development fund monies.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
regular meeting this 14th day of March, 1995.
