RESOLUTION NO. 1995-5
A RESOLUTION DECLARING ARLINGTON STREET STANDPIPE
PROPERTY SURPLUS AND APPROVING SALE
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle is the owner of a tract of ground located at the
Northeast Corner of Arlington and Walnut Streets, such tract measuring approximately sixty five
(65) feet by seventy five (75) feet; and
WHEREAS, such tract was originally the site of a water standpipe which structure has
now been removed; and
WHEREAS, the average appraised value of such tract is Four Thousand Dollars
($4,000.00); and
WHEREAS, the City does not foresee the need of such property in the future.
11 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that such tract be declared surplus property and
that the Greencastle Common Council approve the sale of such property pursuant to I.C. 36-1-
11-3.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
