A RESOLUTION TO PURCHASE REAL ESTATE
(SEWER EXPANSION)
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has projected a future need for additional waste
water treatment facilities; and
WHEREAS, areas adjacent to the present waste water treatment plant are the most
appropriate for expansion; and
WHEREAS, a parcel of approximately 20 acres adjacent to the present waste water
treatment plant, as well as an access to West Walnut Street, are being offered for sale.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE pursue
the purchase of said property pursuant to the procedures set forth in I.C. 36-1-10.5.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
regular meeting this 11th day of April, 1995.
