RESOLUTION NO. 2020-041
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONSOLIDATION OF BANK ACCOUNTS
Whereas, the City has a water and sewer operating account at Hills Bank, and;
Whereas, to fully utilize and access this account, the best use of it would be to
consolidate the accounts to the existing City bank account at Solon State Bank for the
use of water and sewer operating expenses,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the consolidating of bank accounts from Hills Bank to Solon State Bank.
On the 26th day of May, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Walls introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-041, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CONSOLIDATION OF BANK ACCOUNTS and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Olney.
Ayes: Havens, Walls, Olney, Bartels, Schnedler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2020-041, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
CONSOLIDATION OF BANK ACCOUNTS to be adopted and signified his approval of
the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 26th day of May, 2020.
