A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING A SPECIAL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
TUESDAY, AUGUST 31, 1993 DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES,
DESIGNATING THE REGISTRAR AND DEPUTY REGISTRARS AND ORDERING THE
CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE OF SUCH ELECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCCALL, IDAHO, THAT:
SECTION 1 . A Special City Election will be held in and for the
City of McCall, on the 31st day of August 1993, at which time the
question of whether the city should adopt the council-manager
plan of government shall be presented to the electorate as
provided by Resolution 13-93 and by Proclamation of the Mayor
dated June 3, 1993 pursuant to Idaho Code 50-803 .
SECTION 2 . That the polling place for this election shall be the
McCall City Hall, American Legion meeting room, 216 Park St. in
McCall, Idaho.
SECTION 3 . That the hours of said election will be from 8 a.m.
until 8 p.m.
SECTION 4 . That Arthur J. Schmidt, City Clerk, is hereby
designated as Registrar and the following persons as deputy
registrars : Judi Miller, Judy Sargent, and Susan Davidson.
SECTION 5 . That the Clerk, for and on behalf of the Mayor and
Council, shall give public notice of the time and place of
holding such special city election by posting the notice of
election in three public places namely, the McCall City Hall, The
McCall United States Post Office, and the office of the Central
Idaho Star News, and shall publish such notice in two issues of
the newspaper of record, the Central Idaho Star News, which is
published in McCall, Idaho. The first publication of such notice
is to be made not less than 45 days prior to the date of the
special election and the second publication not less than 15 days
prior to the election date. The notice shall further contain the
names of the Registrar and the deputy registrars and the
requirements for registration of electors and such other
information as may be necessary to give full facts of such
election and registration. Such notice shall contain such
information as set forth in the requirements of Section 50-436,
of the Idaho Code.
