WHEREAS, Judy Berry served as Clerk-Treasurer of the City
of Greencastle, Indiana, for seven and one-half years; and,
WHEREAS, Judy Berry' s service to the community of
Greencastle as Clerk-Treasurer was exemplary and highly
professional; and,
WHEREAS, Judy Berry' s service was totally bi-partisan and
highly competent and extremely advantageous to the City of
Greencastle, Indiana; and,
WHEREAS, Judy Berry set the standard for professionalism
in the office of Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Greencastle,
Indiana, and her presence in said office has greatly advanced
the welfare of the community; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle,
Indiana desires to go on record through this Resolution of
acknowledging Judy Berry' s substantial contribution to the City
of Greencastle during her years of service,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Common Council of
the City of Greencastle, Indiana as follows:
1 . Said Council recognizes Judy Berry as an outstanding
Clerk-Treasurer and one who made substantial contributions to
the City of Greencastle, Indiana, during her tenure.
2 . Said Council acknowledges that Judy Berry will be sorely
missed and that her advice and counsel was essential to the
operation of city government during her tenure.
3 . Said Council now unanimously adopts this Resolution
in gratitude to Judy Berry for her years of faithful and
extremely competent service to the City of Greencastle, Indiana,
as its Clerk-TReasurer and wishes her the utmost success in
her future endeavors .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 10th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1995 .
