PCH is anxious to partner with Greencastle Parks and Recreation in promoting wellness and safety with various events throughout the year. 8. Landscaping disc golf course- I have spoken with disc golf players/proponents John Guthrie and Jason LaBella. We have discussed the course at Sports Park. I have received very favorable opinions from both men. I did suggest a potential project with which we would create mounds in the southeast section of the park, where there are a couple of disc course holes. We would plant prairie grass on the mounds in conjunction with the holes, creating a fairway. And this would reduce the amount of space we are currently mowing on a weekly basis.
