BE IT RESOLVED that the Resolution for the Operation of the Medina
Police Department, adopted January 17, 1961, is amended by adding a
section, to read:
Section V. Department Organizaticn. The Village Council may appoint
a fulltime police officer to be Chief of :Policem and he shall serve as
the administrative head_ of the Police Department. If a fulltime
officer is so appointed, he shall report to the Village Council through
a Commissioner of , who shall be appointed annually by the Council
from among its members o exercise policy functions for the Department.
