A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INVESTIGATION
FOR PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has projected a future need for additional parking
lot space; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City to investigate possible locations and the value
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of the City that such property be
purchased by the City as a future parking area.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE obtain
appraisals of specific parcels that would alleviate parking problems.
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
be authorized to engage appraisers for such purpose.
