A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF 4.85 ACRES
OF THE SERGEANT CUNNINGHAM PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle owns sites suitable for industrial development,
heretofore generally designated as the Sergeant Cunningham Site; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development has offered,
pursuant to I.C. 36-7-13-5.5, a 4.85 acre site for sale subject to specific requirements to make
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development, after
advertising and receiving an offer, has made a recommendation to accept the offer of DBX
Engineering to construct a 7500 square foot facility within 240 days of acceptance of such offer.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
approve the sale of 4.85 acres of the Sergeant Cunningham parcel subject to previously approved
restrictive covenants and that the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer be authorized to convey such
parcel upon payment in full of the offering price.
