A RESOLUTION DECREASING CERTAIN
APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN THE 1996 BUDGET
WHEREAS, all necessary expenditures for the Parks and Recreation Department will be
paid in the year 1996, and
WHEREAS, in order to fund the 1997 appropriation in the Parks and Recreation Budget
a reduction of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($18,300.00) is needed.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Greencastle hereby reduces
the 1996 appropriations in the Parks and Recreation Fund by an amount of Eighteen Thousand
Three Hundred Dollars ($18,300.00), as follows:
S 12,000.00 204001116 -Lifeguard Salaries
$ 1,000.00 204001442 - Deck Furniture
$ 1,000.00 204001317 - Sports Concert Series
S 2,000.00 204001315 - BB/SB Officials
$ 2,000.00 204001231 - Start up/Winterization
S 300.00 204001236 - Playground Parts
S 18,300.00 Total Appropriation Reduction
The City Clerk-Treasurer shall certify these reductions of appropriation in the Parks and
Recreation Department of the 1996 Budget of the City of Greencastle to the State Board of Tax
Commissioners by filing a copy of this resolution at said office.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at their
regular meeting this 10th day of December, 1996.
