APPROVAL OF CERTAIN MATTERS FOR THE
MATTERS
WHEREAS, an ordinance has been introduced before the Comm
of Greencastle, Indiana, pursuant to Indiana Code 8-1.5-3-9,1
of water utility from the jurisdiction of the Indiana °n Council of the City
proposing the removal of the
approval of rates and charges and of the issuance of stoc ,Utilityo Regulatory

CITY OF GREENCASTLE: OF THE
Section 1. That the proposed ordinance removing the City's water
jurisdiction of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for the approval of rates and cha tee
and of the issuance of stocks, bonds, notes, or other evidence of indebtedness shall be vorges
ted
upon at the City Council's special meeting held on February 4 1997
Section 2. That written notice of the meeting to be held on
February 4, 1997 and the proposed ordinance removing the City's water utility from
the jurisdiction of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for the approval of rates and
charges and of the issuance of stocks, bonds, notes, or other evidence of indebtedness be mailed
to all ratepayers of the City's water utility and to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission no
later than thirty (30) days prior to the meeting at which time a final vote will be taken.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
regular meeting this 10th day of December, 1996.
