PRESENT: Mayor, Craig Rockwood, Council members, Brad Andersen, Susan Barnes, Dave Huntsman, Dee Johnson, Treasurer, Ron Nelson, City Clerk, Betty McKinlay, Chief of Police, Ross Johnson. VISITORS: Mike & Brenda Klingler. Mayor Rockwood called the meeting to order & welcomed everyone. The Minutes were approved with the corrections. Susan moved and Dee seconded. All were in favor. Mike & Brenda Klingler appeared to discuss putting a sidewalk in front of the handicap ramp at the old merc building. Mike is remodeling the building to rent out spaces in it. Drainage was a concern and safety of parking the cars too close to the road was another item. Mike petitioned the City to use the right-of-way. Mayor Rockwood said it is not feasible to give people here and there a piece of the right-of-way. Council member Huntsman suggested running the black top up to the sidewalk. Mike would like to finish the sidewalk and do the black top later because of the expense involved. It was moved by Dee Johnson And seconded by Susan Barnes. Roll call was as follows: Aye: Council member Johnson Council member Barnes Council member Andersen Nay: Council member Huntsman Motion Carried. Mayor Rockwood asked Mike to look at the water program we have on the computer and see if he can make it user friendly. Mike said he would. Council member Barnes seconded. All were in favor.
