RESOLUTION NO. 1997-4 c-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING LOCATION OF ( ' f.c!'11)
MCDONNELL F-101 B "VOODOO" �✓ v ►� �
WHEREAS, the Putnam County Board of Aviation Commission has requested the right
to locate a static aircraft display of a McDonnell F-101 B "VooDoo" as an identification
and recognition of the Putnam County Airport; and
WHEREAS, the desired location is located on the grounds owned by the City of
Greencastle and administered by the Greencastle Redevelopment Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle City Council approves the recognition of such aircraft.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Greencastle Common Council let its approval
of such project be known and that the Greencastle Redevelopment Commission be
encouraged to allow and permit the long term use of a tract of ground at the Southeast
corner of Highway 240 and Ballard Lane for such display.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in keeping with the overall industrial use of the area
that such use be limited to that necessary for a static display estimated to be 40' x 70'.
