A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
410 OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FOR JAPAN TRIP
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has benefited by the location in its environs
of various manufacturing facilities in which Japanese hold financial interest; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City and consistent with the industrial
development of the City that City officials participate in trade missions and site visits to
home facilities of those companies and to businesses either doing business in this area
or interested in investigating such possibilities; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development pursuant to
IC 36-7-13 and Ordinance 1986-16, passed a Resolution approving the expenditure of
no more than $10,000.00 of the interest on Industrial Development Funds for travel and
expenses of the Mayor and a representative of Council of the City to participate in the
State of Indiana sponsored trade mission to Japan and to visit with companies
presently located in Greencastle.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Greencastle Common Council
authorize the expenditure of $ � �'�C,gym. p Oof the interest from Industrial
Development Funds for travel and expenses of the Mayor and a representative of
n Council of the City for participation in the State of Indiana sponsored trade mission to
Japan and to visit with companies presently located in Greencastle.
PASSED AND RQLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at
its regular meeting this may of April, 1997.
