A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to appropriate additional funds
over what was appropriated in the annual budget; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing, pursuant to notice published on June 28, 1997 in the
Banner Graphic, was held at the regular session of the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle on July 8, 1997 at 7:00 p.m.;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana. that the following additional sum of money is hereby
appropriated out of surplus unappropriated funds for the specified, subject to the laws governing
the same:

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS
OF
PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana,
that the proper legal officers being the Greencastle Common Council, at the Putnam County
Library, at 7:00 p.m., on the 8th day of July, 1997, will consider the following additional
appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year.

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional
rThi appropriation as finally made will be referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners. The
Board will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of fund to support the
Appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
