A RESOLUTION FOR BUDGET YEARS 1999 AND 2000
FOR PAYMENT TOWARDS PURCHASE OF 3/4 TON HEAVY DUTY
PICK-UP FOR FOREST HILL CEMETERY
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Forest Hill Cemetery is in need of an additional 3/4
ton heavy duty four-wheel pick-up truck with snow blade and accessory equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Cemetery Board has determined that an appropriate vehicle
may be obtained for approximately $26,260.00; and
WHEREAS, the Cemetery Board has funds available to pay for the snow plow
attachment in the amount f $2,700.00 from 1997 funds, $8,000 for initial payment upon
delivery as well as $4,000.00 per year for 1999 and 2000 payments; and
WHEREAS, the Forest Hill Cemetery Board requests that the City fund, the
purchase to the extent of $4,000.00 per year from the 1999 and the year 2000 Budgets;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City of Greencastle agree to budget
the sum of $4,000.00 per budget year for 1999 and 2000 for payment toward the
purchase of the 3/4 ton heavy duty pick-up by Forest Hill Cemetery.
PASSED AND RESOLVED b the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at
its regular meeting this` day of 997.
