Re: Upgrades to Intersections around the Carteret Middle School & High School
Dear Mayor Reiman:
I am writing to recommend that the Borough of Carteret receive funding to
upgrade the intersections around the Carteret Middle School and High School. Their
proposal requests funding for the School Crosswalk Project in the Borough of Carteret.
This Carteret Pedestrian and Cyclist Network project will provide the necessary
safety improvements to a heavily traveled pedestrian route, which is used by children to
get to neighborhood schools, parks and other public facilities.
Carteret is an increasingly active and health conscious community, and as such
can only benefit from the proposed improvements. If you have any questions, or if I can
be of assistance to you in any matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Very truly yours,
¿;
