A RESOLUTION HONORING FIRST CITIZENS BANK
WHEREAS,First Citizens Bank has been an important member of the Greencastle
Community for 135 years; and
WHEREAS, First Citizens Bank is Celebrating its 135th continuous year in business; and
WHEREAS, The stability, vitality and growth of a community can be directly related to
the strength of its financial institutions; and
WHEREAS, First Citizens Bank has a strong history of community investment and
philanthropy that has helped Greencastle and Putnam County prosper;
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that the Common Council of the City of Greencastle,
Indiana, commend and express its appreciation to First Citizens Bank for 135 years of service to
the community, a record of achievement worthy of celebration.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
Regular Meeting this 12th day of May, 1998.
